The official new fuel prices are in force in North Macedonia. They apply from midnight, that is from Tuesday, 20 October 2026. Petrol prices have been cut by 2.5 denars per litre, while Eurodiesel BS has gone up by 2 denars.
New maximum prices
The Energy Regulatory Commission (RKE) sets maximum retail fuel prices, so the following amounts are the upper limit at petrol stations:
- Eurosuper 95: 98.50 MKD (≈ 1.60 €) → 96.00 MKD (≈ 1.56 €) per litre, change −2.50 MKD (≈ −0.04 €)
- Eurosuper 98: 100.50 MKD (≈ 1.63 €) → 98.00 MKD (≈ 1.59 €) per litre, change −2.50 MKD (≈ −0.04 €)
- Eurodiesel BS: 97.00 MKD (≈ 1.58 €) → 99.00 MKD (≈ 1.61 €) per litre, change +2.00 MKD (≈ +0.03 €)
Prices moving in different directions
Both grades of petrol are cheaper by the same amount, 2.5 MKD per litre, which is about 4 euro cents. Diesel moves the other way and is 2 MKD per litre dearer, or about 3 euro cents. After the change, Eurodiesel BS is the most expensive of the three fuels listed, at 99.00 MKD (≈ 1.61 €) per litre.
How prices change
North Macedonia has no fixed weekly schedule for price changes. Fuel prices usually change several times a month, and when markets move sharply, four to five times. The decisions follow movements in world oil prices and the US dollar exchange rate, and new prices usually apply from midnight after the decision is made.

Euro amounts are calculated at the rate of 1 € = 61.5 MKD and are for information only.
