1 m³ of gas corresponds to approximately 10.5 kWh of energy. For cooking, a household uses on average 5–10 m³ per month, while heating can take 100–200 m³ per month.
Bottled gas prices (7.5 kg and 10 kg)
The price of bottled gas depends on your location and the size of the cylinder you need, most often 7.5 kg or 10 kg. A smaller 7.5 kg cylinder usually costs from €15 to €20, while a larger 10 kg cylinder will cost you €21 to €26. If you don’t have your own gas cylinder, that will cost extra, so bear that in mind too.
Larger industrial cylinders are also available (35 kg steel cylinders).
